24th Annual Pungo Strawberry Festival - May 26th & 27th

If you are living in Virginia Beach and especailly if you are a fruit lover (as they say Virginia Beach is for lovers) and if you are interested in fresh and farm produce, then the annual Pungo Strawberry Festival in Virginia Beach is worth considering.

On from 9am through to 7pm and free to enter, this event often brings in over one hundred thousand visitors and it invoplves a variety of activities, stalls, strawberries and shows. At the show you can enjoy watching and participating in the pie eating contest, strawberry bake-off, or watch the parade. The kids will love this event with plenty for children to do and see.

Originally started in 1983, The Virginia beach strawberry festival continues to grow and all profits go back into the local comunity.
